The Blessed Mother Madonna

Blog post 1: I already feel stupid about having a blog. I make fun of mom blogs and blogs about blogs. Please don't let me be a blogtard. Please don't let me give tips of the trade or healthy eating habits. Please don't let this trigger me to start pinning things on random boards. This is a desperate step to get off of Twitter and Facebook to a) finish my dissertation in April and b) to get in the running to be the next Pope. I feel like this blog could be the plot of a terrible Josh Hartnett movie (Pearl Harbor? Black Dahlia?, all of his movies?). So to get my feet wet in the blogging world I want to dedicate my first post to the woman who started my love of all things celebrity, Madonna. Here's to you Madge you old, dirty semi-British whore!
